About Open Thoughts

Every year, the Open Thoughts blog poses a pertinent, universal question of interest to society. A question that captures the concerns and motivations of a research group at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). A question that will also be addressed by leading figures from all over world throughout the year.

Opinion leaders in different fields set out and openly discuss their theories on the Open Thoughts Question here on this blog. In doing so, they create the necessary framework to lead readers along a path of exhaustive, eclectic analysis of a great unknown of their time.

Run by the Research and Transfer Support Office (OSRT) at the UOC, Open Thoughts ultimately aims to break down barriers and help research at the UOC cut across different areas, stir things up and create currents of thought in response to the conflicts of our age.
